RID!

We just got in from seeing Robots In Disguise.
it was excellent.
my head hurts and my ears are ringing but it was well worth it.
it was mental.
and so danceable (if that is a word, if its not, it is now)
i loved it.
Noel Fielding was there. it was odd.
I am creating a Flickr site. i can't wait.
although there is a limit on photos, which is not so great.
I am really tired, but i am going to write another one of these tomorrow because i am going to see 'Man to Man with Dean Learner' being recorded for channel 4, and no doubt i'll have some comments to make on that.
WOOOO ROBOTS!

  Comments

Last day of school!

Today was the last day of school.
we didn't know it was the last day of school, until half way through media Mr Sims came round and told us all to go home.
thats not completely true, someone got a phonecall from someone who's class had already left, turned out they'd forgot to come and get us, so we were sitting in the top of C block like mugs, until they remembered.
It was sad to leave, didn't even get one last maths lesson.
we took loads of photos. and almost the entire year went to lake meadows. that was good, til it poured with rain, then everyone went home.
I also got a job today,
i am going to work for a wedding florist which is exciting!
Well, i don't have much more time to write, one of the mothers in Archie's class at school is having a Virgin Vie party which me and my mum are going to!
so wahey!
First exam on monday, ICT! ugh! then English, and RE, then a whole week off,
seeing Robots In Disguise on the 30th, and a new TV show recording on the 31st, aswell as the first day of the florist job on the 3rd.
busy week, eh!

  Comments

ugh. anti-racism & lethal bizzle.

yesterday,
we went to the anti racism concert thing in trafalgar square.
it was pretty good at the start, some speakers, and dancers and singers from schools about london.
we were having fun.
me and alice got split up from the rest of the group, but it was okay, because we had got further to the front, just befor lethal bizzle came on, we noticed they had got into the front & centre bit, so we weaved our way over to them. this was a mistake.
the crowd were wild for 'lethal b' and things got a bit rough. quite rough actually. and then he did that '22 grand job...' and people got a little out of control, we had walked our way into the worst patch and could barely stand up. people were pushing & kicking & punching, and we had lost laura.
so we tried to fight our way out, but we were just getting pushed back. there were so many people, we were like drowning, then i lost my shoes, don't really know when they came off my feet, but it seemed funny, a man helped us get out of the madness, and we walked right out of the crowds checked we were still in one peice, and then i remembered my lack of footwear. i had trodden in glass and my feet were bleeding, we hobbled over to the fountains and i washed my feet to get the dirt out, which seemed kind of silly, as i had to walk barefoot some more, and they just got more dirty.
i was looking for a first aid place so i could get some antiseptic, but they didn't have one, so a police man told me to ask a man in a yellow tabard, i asked him. he was just a bit patronising. geez. he called someone else in a yellow tabard, she called an event organiser, who called a first aider (all i needed was a plaster to keep the dirt out!) and they took my name so they could ask on stage for my shoes back. the woman sprayed a bit of antiseptic and gave me a plaster which i put on. and we met up with someone else from school, who was carrying someone elses bag that happened to have my size shoes in it. so i wore them for a bit. we walked up to where the backstage area was. and we saw the paddingtons messing around, alice asked them if they would ask on stage for my shoes. and they said okay and all climbed into a port-a-potty. it was strange. we went back down to where the stage was, and watched for a while, we kept well out of the crowd though.
and we saw a man that looked EXACTLY like julian barratt (from the boosh) wasn't him though.
we were next to a man and his mum, and all these girls kept running up to him and saying 'oh my god your from ........ i love your band!' and getting photos with him, we had never heard of them. ever.
we were dancing, and i looked round, and the ambulance lady was calling me, though i didn't know if she was calling me or someone else, but it was me.
my shoes had been found!
and all was well!
then we wandered around, went to macdonalds etc.
we saw boy kill boy
they were good
and we saw belle and sebastian
they were even better. and some other band called 'trafalgar' i think. they were great. yeah it was a good day,
now i am aching, and i am betting everyone else is too.
worth the pain i am sure.

  Comments

The fratellis. & other excitement...

yesterday, we went to see the fratellis at camden barfly.
we had bought 4 tickets, and there were 3 of us going, so emma smith came along,
it started at 7.30, so we left early to make it to TOPSHOP. and we went and had a re-take of the original topshop glasses photo. we walked around there for a while, tried on the wigs. there was a huge afro one, and a german girl told me i should buy it. i didn't,
we got back on the tube and it was about 7.05 so we panicked a little, but i think we decided we'd be fashionably late or something, because we seemed to be dilly dallying, we got off in camden, and the directions said 'take a right' we took a left, and went to macdonalds, by now it was way past half seven, so we were planing on missing the support.
after macdonalds we strolled up. and saw some suspicious characters lurking about under the 'camden lock' bridge. we walked past the elephants head we did, pete sweets boozer. and then we saw barfly, so we walked in, and it was just a pub, so we were a little confused, 'wheres all the music?' and so we had a look around and some man said ' go down there and take a left' so we did. and there was a tiny little staircase with a man sitting at the bottom saying 'ticket?' so he stamped our hand, we went upstairs, and found the place, it was brilliant. really quite small, like the size of a classroom. and very few people (few more came later, but still way less than expected) and the music hadn't started yet, which was good for us. so we stood about a bit, and then the first band came on, so we moved a bit closer, and when we decided we liked them, a bit closer, until we were at the stage, there was just one person infront of us, but then her friend turned up, who was soo tall and i couldn't see a thing. the first band were good, the second band were even better 'figure 5' they were called, and the drummer... HAS NO ARMS! it was incredible, he just had drumsticks strapped to his stumps and played like that. very very clever. and they were a bit kaiser cheif-y. which was good to see, bit of tambourine shakin, some strage dancing.

then the fratellis came on, they were very good. they were funny and scottish and some girl next to me said 'what language are they speaking?' and her friend said 'scottish i think'. and they sung some songs no one knew, and then they did 'creepin up the backstairs' and everyone went WILD, i really mean wild. like pushing and chargind forward and throwing beer, my legs got soaked, but it was all good fun, and as soon as that song finished, everyone was calm again. then they did some more songs, and then went off stage, but came back straight away with one more song. then we left. but the whole night was great.

ooh, i am writing this on the new laptop, which came on monday and is brilliant. i love it. the other day, i had history homework due, hadn't done it, so i typed it up in the middle of the night, and i used world book for some revision.
8 mornings left at school until i leave forever. tomorrow is everyones final full day, next week we go in in the mornings and then can leave or stay and revise after lunch. i am only staying for english and science which is good, cos i don't want to be in school while no one else is. after about 15th may, we are leaving for good, only come in for exams, and then, on the 30th june, we go in for assembly, then thats it, forever!
we have a lot planned now we have so much time on our hands, saturday 'rock against racism' free concert in trafalgar square, boy kill boy & belle and sebastian among others, monday myself and lillie are going for a shop about in old camden, and then next thursday we are going to see simon amstell from popworld in islington, its fun to be able to go out and do stuff!

  Comments

My Birthday/Booshday.

I haven't written on this for the entire holidays!
but i will write right now.
its 23 minutes to one.
and i'm a bit tired
but too excited to sleep.
I'll start with the most exciting things.
Today i saw the mighty boosh again,
not only that, but it was my 16th birthday aswell!
yeah!
and it was excellent, and i got an iPod nano, which i am listening to me boosh tunes on, and i have an apple laptop coming on monday! woooo! i am so excited. i also got some footless tights. and licorice. excellent!
so i went to school
and it was pretty boring
got my new ID though,
and we did a speech on whether britain was a health promoting society, but to be honest i don't care.
i came home at lunch
and then i got archie from school
and i played about a bit with my iPod.
and then it was time to get ready.
so i tried on about a thousand outfits, and when i decided, Alice was at the front door!!
woo, so we went to Brixton (we got sooo lost!) and we queued outside, and then, a tiny man strolled past, and we realised it was Mr Michael Fielding/naboo. that was when we got excited.
they opened the doors, and we went in to find our seats, and the were so brilliant.
they were row E, which sounds a bit far back, it was so close though. and we were pretty central.
we could see them right in the eye, which is better than the last time.
this time it was soo much funnier. i had a stitch. and my face hurt.
i got some photos, which were ok. but i am a bit annoyed, cos when vince did the electroboy dance, he pointed right at the camera, and it didn't take in time, so the photo is of him turning away and all blurred.
I did however get a photo of rudi looking right at me, & naboo pointing our direction from his carpet. they are way too blurred for my liking though, too hard to get a good photo there.
it was so different this time.
at the end, they flew! and grabbed each other in the air and spun around.
and the hitcher, jumped off the stage, and then asked some man for a boost back up, even though there were steps right next to him.
ahh funny,.
when noel ran past us, we were ready with our cameras, but he was way too fast, so although i scraped him with my camera, all you can see is his spangly mirrorball suit.
there were so many funny things about it. i can't even remember them all.
Here are some photos.....

a funny quote... DD
'You fight well for a Jimmy Saville impersonator'
'You lot better shut it, or i'll fix it for you, and you and you!'

ahh, and at the end, old gregg finally got his 'hooks into howard'!
they kissed.
and also there was flying, which i might have already mentioned, but it was so funny, its worth another.

This past couple of weeks i have also been to scotland and to hampstead for my birthday.
it was great in hampstead, such a nice place, if i win the lottery. i will most certainly be buying me a house there.
we also got the bus to Kentish town kentish town, yeah! kentish town kentish no!
and we saw tom from mcfly again! he follows us everywhere we go!

  Comments

The Mighty Boosh.

I have just returned from the mighty boosh.
i have never laughed so much. ever. It was sooo funny. i really feel i got my money's worth.
We met friends there, in row b. the lucky kids. but row Y turned out to be excellent. we had PERFECT view of the stage. and not too far back. i could see facial expressions and everything.
but the show was so good. It started off as a wee bitta stand up. which turned into the main show, and then it dipped a bit, a few less funyn jokes. But then, the hitcher came out of the box, did his funny little dance. and it was back on track... then i laughed continuosly til the interval. when our chums came and sat next to us. then we went for a walk, but we came in late. and the moon was already talking. we had to climb over everyone to get to our seats, and i forgot what row we were in. oh it was a bit of a kerfuffle. the second half was great. we thought it ended but the curtains opened again, and there was a suprise appearance from Old Gregg. sung their little song... and when it had finally ended. We hung around in the lobby for a while. Then, i got a phone call from my mum to say there was a stage door. so we went over there. And waited. And waited. And waited. There was a door door, and a sliding panel thing for loading and unloading on the trucks. We were near the panel-y thing.. and spotted Naboo. he was tiny! then we saw howard moon. they couldn't see us because we were peeping through the delivery entrance, but then Naboo turned around, and realised he was being watched. and looked pitifully at us. like 'haven't you got anything better to do?'
Well Naboo came out, and we got a photo with him.
We got bored of watching and i was watching the men load the trucks when laura nodded over my head, and i spun around and Vince Noir/Noel Fielding was standing right behind me! leaning out the delivery bit! it was weird. Weirdest thing, ages ago, Alice asked for suggestions on what she should wear to boosh. I suggested a rather cool pac-man belt i had found on 80stees.com, and today, NOEL was wearing it. And then Howard signed my little note book thing saying 'Boosh love, J Barratt' or something, and a little drawing of the mask thing. (i am so posting pictures)
Then, Bob fossill signed my book 'what a book!! Bob'
The man in the gorrilla costume who plays Bollo came out, and no one knew who he was, except mark, they were chatting away!! so no one asked him for his autograph. but slowly people started to realise and as he got in the van (which we were standing RIGHT next to, cos everyone was too busy crowding the stage door) he started to sign things, he wrote 'Amy, you bitch! Big boosh love! Bollo (dave)'
then last, Vince came out... he toook agesssssss. but it was worth it, we all got an autograph, i got a weird little drawing, and then 'noel'. i wanted to get a photo but he needed to be whisked off in his van. but he did give us a kiss!
thats right, noel fielding. (he was in the IT crowd too, richmond. and also Nathan Barley)
they drove off, we drove off and the night was over.
but soooo much fun.
I want to go back.
Next on the list, Simon Amstell, yes yes!

Say 'Boooooooooooooooosh!'

The mighty boosh.....

  Comments

ooh back again.

I haven't written anything in a while. That is partly because i have realised how boring my blog is. none of that inner musings schlaar that most blogs are full of, i just like to talk about what i've done. I don't mind if no one reads it. I just like to write it down. So i still am.
I haven't really done much though...so...
well. i have read a book. a good book. 'Matchstick Men' by Eric Garcia. yes yes. It is the same as the film, which is a darn good movie. And the book was excellent. I read it in about 2 days. I have now leant it to Lainey to read. I think i'd quite like to be a con-man, if it weren't illegal and all.
I also stayed with Granny at Andrews house on Saturday night. It was so very very quiet there. but very nice. And then for mothers day we went to 'The Lion and Lamb' in little cansfield, near dunmow. It was sooo nice there. I reccomend.
I went to a food tasting thing at the school on monday. it was all very healthy.
on wednesday, i went with Archie's class on a road safety walk. i had to hold a little girls hand and help her across the road. I asked her to look both ways and she just stared at me. And so i asked her if she could hear any engines...still staring at me. so i asked her if it was safe to cross...
Then, Archie and his friends went to Marsh Farm. which was excellent!
I played with the kiddies in the sand pit and we saw some animals, and went on a tractor. it was great!
BOOOOOOOOOSH tonight.

  Comments

BOOOOOOSH!

I have just been to collect my Boosh tickets from the cliffs pavillion! wahey!
I will be there on the 30th March, yes yes!
I'm in row Y BUT I'M STILL THERE!
I had a busy weekend, i stayed at isabelle's sunday & Monday. monday i came home for lunch... shhh... and i got asked to babysit, but we were already going out for dinner, had maths tutor and media... soo... I went back to school, had science with Mr Willys (I dislike that man! I am going to buy a tee shirt that says 'what you talkin bout willis' and wear it on non uniform day) and then i stayed doing media til 4.25, then i ran home (literally, ran!) and was here in time for Sir David of Maths at 5. Then, when we managed to coax him out of the door at 6.15, we ran up to meet isabelle and we went to the blue boar for some dinner, BUT, they had NO veggie food! NONE. not even a bit that i just didn't want to eat, they were all out! and i had to be babysitting by 7.45! so.. we ran up to papa pizza, and they made us a pizza, but just as they served it up, i got a phone call to say that they wanted me earlier... so, we got it boxed up and went home. Then i went next door, and played a very exciting game called 'buzz' wow its a bit cool! then the children went to bed, and i watced Americas Next Top Model! that show is great! i want Kim to win!!! although i know who does, and i'm not too happy! But this week it was a rooobish highlights show, because Cassandra left a few weeks back and they're down a show. Highlights shows are the lowest of the low, i have already seen every episode, i do not need to watch the best bits again!
then i watched a little bit of the Oscars, but it was a bit boring, so i watched Sports kids moms and dads! oh my gosh! its about these little tiny 8 year olds, whose parents pressure them HARD into doing things, and don't allow them to be children. Everyone should watch it. There was a little girl, and her mum was making her go cheerleading and kept shaking her head, saying 'wheres your competitive spirit, whitni/courtni/mandi?' (i don't remember the girls name) and then the little girl kept faking stomach aches to get her off of school/practice on a monday because she had school, then cheer practice, then dance then cheer practice in one day and she hated it. And whitni (with a little heart to dot the 'i' probably) was so worried about upsetting her mum, she put up with it! Seriously, watch it, 10pm LivingTV2.
I am so very very excited for the mighty boosh!!! 22 days! and I am Also excited for....
V FEST!!!!!! yyesss!

also, if anyone wants to buy tickets for corinne bailey rae, i am selling 2!!

  Comments

I am so tired

I am sooooo tired today, i only fell asleep at 5.30 this morning. I stayed at Isabelle's and i could NOT get to sleep. I watched American pie the wedding twice, and then i watched re-runs of Jeremy Kyle and 'the peoples court'. And i listened to the clock chime every hour and half hour. I got up at 7, so that 1hr and 30minutes sleep, not enough!
Yesterday, i went to chelmebob/chompsford with Laura, on the train, there were works at billericay so we got the bus for free to shenfield. I bought some good lookin glasses.
On saturday i got my left lobe re peirced. woop. and i did some cleaning and photo shopping! that is so hard! I have no idea how to use it!
i'm in IT and tired, staying at Isabelle's again tonight, hope i sleep better!

  Comments

2nd march

today, zara and i did a very good presentation...
it was about asteroids, and i was meant to have Armageddon, but i didn't. sorry bizara! BUT, i did have a lime and some raisins, so, i held the lime (earth) and zara explained about asteroids/meteors while pelting raisins towards my lime. ahh it was good.
last night i watched that peaches geldof program, i think i only understand about 12% of the words that come out of her mouth... she tries to be so clever but i find it a little annoying. though she does have the right ideas... i wonder how many people actually understand what she is talking about...
Tomorrow, we are going to 'band night' at KEGS woo!
but tonight i am going to sleep
wait, no i'm not... i have media to do! oh no!!!

  Comments

Beauty and the Geek- top class comedy

After many hours of tired flicking and fiddling with the sky remote, trying to work out these new channels... i stumbled across a program on E4 (by chance, i was looking for UKTV style) called 'Beauty and the Geek'. From what I've gathered, some 'Beauties' and some 'Geeks' have to pair up and the girls teach the boys about beauty things.. like looking good.... and the boys teach the girls about..common sense really... and then each week they are quizzed and one team ends up going home.
The episode i happend to see was one where the beauties go out with no make up on, and the geeks go out all dressed up! It was so very funny! this girl, not so clever, and quite shallow was talking about 'questioning the world we live in' trying to be clever i think. (impressing the geeks) and then, my favourite geek...i forget his name... read one of the girls a poem... it lasted 11 minutes... and was about a coin!
oh! that certainly beats any comedy show on today! (except the mighty boosh, and Arrested Development)

Today, we had a domestic violence speaker in... and domestic violence is no laughing matter.. but when she plays Annie Lennox-'why' and then speaks over the top (martin luther-king stylee) i had to bite my cheeks to stop from laughing, which is ok, but when you look round the room and see everyone else doing the same... it becomes very hard.
Then she put on Eminem. trying to reach out to the kids you see... except, when she asked who listens to Eminem. no one put their hand up. poor woman.
then she put on Craig david... and repeated the lyrics... and i had to try so hard not to laugh again... and when the woman started swearing, Mrs Baird was angreeeeeeeeeee!
oh it was good.

now, y'all better go see Walk the Line soon! tis a damned good film and yous is missin out.
oh how i wish i was southern

  Comments

shrove tuesday! ++ some films, 2 good, 1 not so much.

woooooooo! TODAY IS THE DAY OF PANCAKES! yes yes.
we had one of those courseworks days at school, which was quite useful, really... plus, we got to come home at 1.15! a yes yes. And after 1.15, i went to the high street, to the library to be exact... ordered in 'The Mighty Boosh' box set... that show cracks me up, ahh specially the one yesterday...with 'old gregg' oh deary deary me.
and after we went to the library, we suddenly realised it was Pancake day, so we went to Waitrose, got us some Maple Syrup and a few bits n peices (mainly to make up the £5, to get the ticket stamped to get out of the car park) and came home and mixed up some batter.... but the time was 5pm... and we were going to see walk the line at 5.40... had to pick up izz, and her grandma and my gran at 5.20.....
so the batter was mixed in record time and we were out the door and earlier than we ever have been ever.
and we went to see 'Walk the Line'. I swear, i have never loved a film so much. 'twas excellent! i really want to see it again! I think Reese withersoon spoiled it a little for me though, if June Carter-Cash was played by some unknown actress, it would have been much easier to get 'Legally Blonde' out of my head. you will not understand how good this film is until you see it, honestly thats meant to look like Joaquin Phoenix...

In other news...
last friday i went to see 'Final Destination 3' that film is appauling! and so is UCI. seriously, they had taken the seats away and we had to sit on't floor! THE FLOOR! i paid good money for those 'seats'. ooh it made me angry. And the film...the film is... EXACTLY the same as final destinations 1&2. Although, slightly more gruesome, and it did leave me a bit paranoid. Especially after i hear celine dione everywhere i go... its no longer funny.
oh dear final destination. I'd say its one to miss!

On sunday, I went to see Mrs Henderson presents, at THURROCK cinema, that is a fabulous cinema. It was so clean and nice. and the film was great. and, Will Young can act!? seriously, he is a lucky man! if Simon Cowell was in a bad mood the day he auditioned *poot* he would have none of what he has today. but, seriously, that film was oh so funny, even me granny laughed, and thats when you know its a good'n.

This week i gotta do many many things, and then at the weekend i think we are going to take Granny to giraffe (she is missing Emma, and likes to keep busy) and then on sunday and monday i am staying at isabelle's while her granparents are on holiday. but the maths tutor is still coming. bad luck.

oh, i'm off to find Armageddon.... science project with bizara masood and i might get in trouble if i forget it.... or can't find it! oh no!!!!! I forgot of mice and men.

  Comments

A week... including photos...

I have done very very little since wednesday. i got my hair cut! woop!
and, on friday i went shopping at lakeside, i saw Chantelle from Big Brother walking round. and buying EVERYTHING. Me, Archie and mum had a midnight feast, woop, and watched Nanny McPhee..
on saturday i went to london, i went to London, we went to Oxford streeeeet and to spitalfields... when we were on the bus, the traffic was jammed. so we got out and walked. took a while, but it would've taken Wayyy longer in the bus. We had another midnight feast tonight, we watched the parent trap... mucho grande mistako.. its about 3 hours long and didn't end til gone 3. i needed sleep.
sundaday.. we met at Billericayy station at 10am. (what?!) and went up to leicster square in the hope of meeting some famous people. BAFTAS, innit!
well, it poured and the wind blew and we froze... we rowed with those around us. But we also entertained, we played that funky music (white boy?) and we danced and sung... but people were just too miserable, i think the weather had got them down and some fools had been there since 7am. (haha on you). Well, we saw the following people up close..(close enough for a photo/signature) Rupert Grint (ayy Ron Weasley), Peirce Brosnan, Steve Coogan, Neve Cambell, william mosely (chronic-what-cles of narnia) Jude Law, Matt Dillon (heck yes) and a very old but very famous stranger. There were more people, but they were the most memorable. THEN, when the good people came, Heath Ledger, Jake Gylenhaal, George Clooney, Rachel Weisz etc... they got ushered inside as fast as their well dressed feet would carry them. And we were wet, cold and a tad disappointed... Richard Bacon had kept us laughing though. And we made friends with the security guards, they were funny men.. but they tried to take our left eyes and money. and called holly a 'cheeky bitch' HOW DAR HE?
After 6 hours of standing, we went home, I have never loved sitting down so much! I was sooo tired when i got home, i couldn't sleep... which meant i couldn't get up for school monday morning... which was not good. I had too little sleep in the half term and i nearly fell asleep in just about every lesson... expecially Mr (whatch talkin bout) Willis. Monday 20th= 'ye day. Kanye west! woooooooop!
that was soo very very good. He was on for ages and kept disappearing and reappearing and walking through smoke. He had a String Orchestra + a DJ. which was such a clever combination. He started with Touch the sky (cos it was called the touch the sky tour) and he had a massive screen behind, that had the sky on it... he kept standing infront of it.. oh it was good. And he played all the faves.. bitta Slow Jamz, and we worked it out to the new workout plan, goldigger etc. THEN... halfway through, he said 'Yo, throw on some Old skool tracks' and the Dj put on Al Green 'Lets stay together' and then everyone in the Hammersmith Apollo sung along, and then... (this is the good part) somehow, he merged it into Prince 'When Doves Cry' and he started singing that... ohh it was excellent and then a bit of A-ha... TAAAAKE ONNN MEEEE! take on me! and we were lovin it.
well... i was oh so very tired after this, we got home at 00:09 Well done Laura, you won. And i put on the music channel, and guess what was on, Kanye. then corinne Bailey rae, yes yes.
Tuesday, was ok, i found out that if we go on the common room without having one of those ridiculous ties, we go to the unit... whats all that about now? I think its encouraging rivalry between us all. and, frankly mate, i don't like it!
then it was parents evening, and, it actually turned out ok! woooooo! its because alot of my teachers are a bit iffy and do things like lose coursework or tell us to admit defeat or shut the hell up teenager. and they couldn't be negative cos we'd spill the beans on their antics. (YES I MEAN YOU MR WILLIS!)
Today, we found out....... WE GOT GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS!! come onnnnnnn!
erm, i think that is all for now.
yeah. wooot.

here are some photos....

On saturday i went to thurrock with ann and we went and had a look at the TK MAXX sale, but there was nothing there, then we went to borders and ikea. on sunday we went to see Auntie.

Monday, me, laura and danielle went to the high street where we were meant to be meeting loads of people but no one turned up when they were sposed to... then we went to presence and had some lunch.. and went job hunting. but no where in the whole high street has a place. Later, more people turned up.. 3 more.. and we wandered around.. then one more turned up and we went to sun corner and stood on the swings (we couldn't sit because someone had squirted silly string on the seats!) then i went home to babysit next door for an hour or so and then me, my mother and isabelle were meant to be going to see 'Walk the line' but my mum got sick so me and isabelle went to Nandos!! WOO NANDOS!
and then hired out a filum from blockbusters, 3 actually.. the sweetest thing, camp and tadpole, we watched the start of camp but then we put on the sweetest thing instead.. that film is no where near as funny as i remember it.

Tuesday, i had mathsman come and teach me some maths. then i went to lakeside.. bought nothing.

today, we went to holburn to take in the money to breakthrough breast cancer that isabelle's family had raised..
we shopped around a bit at oxford circus and then came home. tonight, i am so watching brat camp. those girls are awful.

nothing. oh wait, it was quite funny when i spent hours revising the wrong things for the test. yeaha, that was a blast.

Well after, me n isabelle came back here and we had a mexican dinner. Mother bought new crockery yesterday so Isabelle and Granny came for tea. We had vegetarian Chilli with lentils which was nice. and ofcourse, tacos tortillas nachos etc..
IT WAS SOOO HOT. me and isabelle made the salsa (i say salsa, it was more of a pinky-red pulp) and i chopped the chillis..but the oil didnt come off my fingers when i washed them.. i rubbed my eyes and now i'm on fire.
then we watched snow dogs.. now i am here. and i am about to revise maths...
if anyone in the world knows what a plane of symmetry is please tell me!? i have no clue and i think its going to be on the test! argh.

I did the media test and it was hard. and mr walker (winner of the dullest man in britain award) sat behind me and was reading over my shoulder. offputting? yes.
Then i went to Bluewater.. bought some licorice. I was going to buy Belle and Sebastian and also arcade fire.. but i didn't.. and now i don't remember why. dang.
Archie barker got a cowboy suit today and now, instead of being in bed like he should be, he is dancing about in it and about to watch Calamity Jane, which is a magnificent film. i like the songs.

  Comments

Sunday and Monday...

Yesterday, sunday... was a bit cold!
I went to the high street and got me some films to watch.. and some poppadums.
I watched quite a few films yesterday.. Flipper.. with a dolphin, 50 first dates, with a walrus and WhaleRider with a Whale, bit of an under water theme, and they were good. I have Free willy Lined up ready for tonight, once the maths tutors gone. I also watched '10 things i hate about you' which might be my favourite film ever, i had forgotten how much i loved it and so now i need to watch 'clueless' and the like, so i can remember my love for them. I might even watch one now, i've got spare time on my hands, cos its exam week.
This morning i had an I.T exam, bum bum bah, it was sooo very very hard. I had no idea what an Agenda was, or how to layout a memo.. but now thats over, woo! I went to the Blue Boar with my mum and granny for some breakfast and now i have come back home. But i have to go back in a bit for an English one.. 'Of mice and Men' and Gillian clark/Seamus Heaney poetry.. I'm a little scared cuz, i don't know much about this poetry... i've got no notes in my anthology.. eek!
Later, Davy P/DAvid W Preston/ MATHS MAN, is coming to teach me some maths, which is very helpful as i have a maths test first thing tomorrow, and you can never be too prepared. After that i have media or something.. then on wednesday, (this is the part i like) I don't have to go to school until 1.15 and the same on thursday, so i can sleep as late as i like... then on Friday, Maths finishes at 10.30 and the rest of the day is my own. I'm thinking i might go to london, or to see Chicken Little with Archie boy.
ooooo i am going to read of mice and men, refresh it in my mind. turra

o0o0o0oUPDATEo0o0o0o
I did the english test and 'of mice and men' went really well, wrote about the theme of loneliness throughout the novel, yes yes. however... anthology = thumbs down... I had no notes on 'Patrolling Barnegat' or 'The Feild mouse' and i had no idea what they were talking about... so i made it up.. gotta get some marks, right? this is what i should have written.. .
- Both poems are from a personal viewpoint.
- Both poems are about a storm at sea. Yet Whitman is Patrolling the beach, almost participating in the storm, while Heaney is prepared, protected in his house.
- Heaney uses a simile - spits like a tamed cat turned savage - to describe the wild sea; Whitman uses images that are even more menacing, like Shouts of demoniac laughter.
- Heaney describes the wind attacking - we are bombarded by the empty air. Whitman uses another military image - that of troops moving forward, watchful and firm advancing - to describe the force of the wind. Both images portray the wind as the enemy.
WHAT?! oh well....
didnt get home till almost five, exam ran late then we had to find a teacher then i found vikki and walked her to lillie's house.. poor girl was stranded. then when i got to lillie's the maths tutor was already there, so i had to run home before he got to mine...
did some maths.. and then i found out that 'Blossom' is back on tv... that has to be one of my favourite shows ever.. it was on when i was like 5 and now its back and i love it love it love it. On Kanye night... we are going to go see Corinne Bailey Rae first woooo! THEN 5th April.. we are going to see her again, can't get enough... and on 13th Feb we are going to see 'Boy Kill Boy' who were on the friday night project a few days ago and are no where near as violent as their name implies. still cannae find me some tickets for 'arcade fire' or 'the go! team' but i'm going to see cbr so i'll get over it.

well well well... mathematics tomorrow..
A'goodnighta!

  Comments

Londres..

Cuz i'm really cool, i am posting a whole TWO blogs today... though i think i might start doing them on Squarespace.com.. its fabulous. and i can put anything on there which might be useful.
Well, today i went to london cuz it was izzy's birfday yesterday. and she wanted to go to Tiffany's, so she rang me last night, we arranged to head off at 11 this morning. I was late.. because its tradition. So we chuffed up to Stratford on the train (and saw probably every West Ham fan in the country 'if you hate sunderland clap your hands'), then we got on the underground and somehow got to sloane square. Someone had put washing up liquid in the fountain there and it was literally overflowing with bubbles, there was a monk looking appauled at it. It took us about an hour to cross from the station to Tiffany's because everyone driving their ferraris and what not didn't want to let us across. When we got there, it was a little scary, cuz there was a doorman and i'd rather just open the door myself. Then we decided we'd go in the lift just to go in a tiffany lift, there was no difference to a normal lift. Except, we were trying to be discreet about our lazyness... and it was the noisiest lift in the quietest shop. then we went upstairs, isabelle bought her necklace and the girl who served her was afully awfully posh. then we plucked up the courage to go out of the door, because the scary doorman was still standing there. and we hopped back on the tube to Oxford Circus. Had a look around Topshop (THE KOOKS night topshop) and saw the nicest bags in the entire world, but was ridiculously over priced. Then we went to Covent Garden and i went to MAC to replace my mums compact that i broke, but i forgot to get money out so we had to go on a hunt for a cash point. and there were NONE in covent garden. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. I walked down Neal Street and down where the marker bit is. past the tin tin shop. i went to the bureau de change to ask and the woman said 'if you keep walking round you'll find one.'. Thanks. FINALLY there was one at leicester square, so then i trapsed back to neal street bought some bronzer for mama and we headed home. except isabelle lost her ticket. and had no money, as it all went on her necklace BA BA BAAAA. so i offered to lend her the money, but they were trying to charge her silly amounts for such a small journey, so we hopped on a bus (Free for over 16s) and went to liverpool street then it only cost £3.80 back to shenfeild. I was impressed! so we got on a train and were stuck on a carraige alone with a strange man that kept shutting the doors. then more people piled on... west ham fans again! so then we got going. finally we got back. isabelle went home, i went to blockbuster, fancied a film. I wanted to see 'The in-laws' or 'Sidewalks of New York' but apparently my account has been deleted so i couldn't. so i cam home, and had some quorn. yum. and now i am looking at this SuareSpace. i think its super.
Tomorrow, i might go see Auntie with Lainey and Granny. Haven't seen her in a while, or spoke to her properly. The last time we had a conversation she thought i was Emma and when she realised i'd said amy.. the chat kind of died off...
Plenty a revision to do... yeah, so maybe look at My Squarespace If theres anything on it.

  Comments

sat'dy!

I am trying to write a blog every day, becuase... i just want to see if i can do it.
But, there aren't enough things going on for me to blog about. I could write one today when i get home, which would be easier because i could write about what i did today.but i might not be on the computer.
So i'll write about what i'm going to do today... i am going to london with Isabelle, it is her birthday. or it was yesterday. so we are going bond street and to covent garden. cos everyone loves the garden.
ooh isabelle has just rang us..she needs make up supplies! Yesterday, i toook many photos of non uniform day and some for my media coursework, which were excellenté. They were of Aimée Higgins, as Stella Osker, new actress and superstar. We spent the entire lesson wandering around the school looking for a free class room. There are SO many rooms in that school, and not a one was free, we ended up doing our 'photoshoot' in the corridoor outside a business studies class!
I am trying to work out how to make my photobucket available for to view. Everyone else has their KoKo photos up there i must be able to do it somehow. I think i did it... I am going to upload the photos of yesterday on there so ya'll can see em. Chances are, if you were in the common rooom there is a photo of you trying to escape. Cos yesterday, ANYONE could go in there. not just the special ones. ha.
20 week left of compulsory education! nooo! and only a few weeks til i'm sixteen. I can't beleive Zara is not goin sixth form. better than us.. going chelmsford are ya? its 16 days til Kanye West. wooooo. And on the 6th March, i'm going to see Family Fortunes, with Vernon KAy!!!!!!! wooooo!
Anyone know when V tickets go on sale, i am so buying some. I also would like to get tickets to see Arcade Fire. but unfortunately there are none, its ok, soon, there'll be another spree trip (i hope) for this new album. 'The Fragile Army' strange title to choose reallly, 'the beginnning stages of' 'together we're heavy' and 'the fragile army'...hm.
i am going because i'm meant to be on the train in 30 miutes and i'm still in my PJs! oops.

  Comments

Friday!

Its friday! and today was non uniform day! woo!
I have been on myspace since i got home from school, i have changed my profile song about 100 times already, today it started as Samantha James, ha, then i went for Macy Gray then 5ive then s club 7 then new kids on the block and now its off of the mulan soundtrack. i am in a 90s mood. I have a paper round to do and hair to straighten, i have no idea why i even got a new paper round, i was so over that when i stopped doing my old one about 4 years ago and now i feel like i've taken a step back! its silly really. I think i might change my profile song to Neneh Cherry, thoughts, anyone?
Here is an EXCELLENT blog...The Fragile Army Its The polyphonic spree's blog while they are creating their new album, i think its written maily by Julie Doyle. woooo. It looks like where they are staying is lovely...Its so interesting.
tomorrow its off to london, i cannae wait. mocks in 5 days... bum bum baaaa

  Comments

Eeek! Mocks! and orchys!

We have our mocks next week, eek! EEeeenglish coursework deadline has passed, eeek again. But, ms Sturges has lost mine!!! Now she is off school and SOMEHOW has my number at her house and keeps ringing me to ask me where it was! She rung about an hour ago, i must have got her in trouble for losing it... i feel bad, but i think i'd feel worse if i got no grade on coursework. My Frankenstein essay was marvellous and so was my 'color purple'!! Mr Willis finally admitted today that he only makes me do thing to be awkward. silly man. i had to move my chair about 30cm forward so i could see the TV better! made no sense!
The computer is being fickle. it cannot decide if it wants to be my nest friend or my worst enemy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I imagine you have gathered at this particular moment in time me and Dr (the computer) are like that *crosses fingers to symbolise closeness*. But when he hasn't been working i have turned to watching every DVD in my collection. I realised how good some films are. Especially 'One Fine Day' with George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer! i lovelovelove it. We have been to see alot of films at the cinema too, cos we are cool. Danielle, Laura, Lillie and I went to see 'Jarhead' with Jake Gylenhaal...wwwwwoooooooooo! i think its great! bit o kanye in the soundtrack to! and then, Lillie, Chelsey, Vikki n me went to see 'Just Friends' which looked a bit ding don't, but i think Ryan Reynolds is a bit funny, so we went... and it is FUNNY! at moments it is definately thumbs down, but when Anna Faris from Scary movie sings, it is hilarious.. (sing wimme vikki) FORGIVENESSSSSSSSSS, is more than saying SORRAY!. i love it so much its my myspace profile song. 19 days til Kanye!
I am currently looking for tickets to see Arcade Fire! but it seems there are none! i think arcade fire are fabulous, and they, along with the legendary Spree have formed a new type of coool... the ORCHY! Orchy is short for Orchestral Pop, and came about in mathematics on tuesday. currently there are few orchys in the world that know they are Orchys. Soon, Orchy will be the new EMo. If you like being happy, you are an orchy. If you like tambourines, theremins, copperphones, violins and french horns, you are an orchy. If you think that music can be just as great without words, you are orchy. If Emo makes you want to scream-o, you might be orchy, or you might be everyone else on the earth who is not emo. COLOURS are nice for orchys.
we were meant to go see richard hammond's show tomorrow but we can't get there in time, so we are gunna go next friday after our exams. yey.
YEAR BOOK PHOTO SOON. me and Zarina Masoodavich (zara masood.) are going to make our own, where everyone has an equal amount of space and the sporty people arent the only photos in it.
GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS... as we may be the biggest geeks on the planet at this point, we are campaigning to get Gov&Pol back to sixth form so we can take it, at the moment, the class would consist of myself, laura body, lauren mayor, thomas prince and Iain connet. partay! We might have to team up with mayflower though, which i think is really exciting because we'd never ever have spoken to those people before in our lives! woooooooooooooooooooooooo! Vote G&P. and i'll wear an Uncle Sam hat.
I am gonna get tickets to V..yay.
that is all.

there are some good websites that have been brought to my attention in recent days.. www.lonelyisland.com is a bit funny! they have some hilarious stuff and some that really is not worth watching, its made by the people that made this legendary film, that has been downloaded onto iPods EVERYWHERE > (its not to be taken seriously!)
Another good website is you can do graffitti type stuff for the world to see! ooh, also a new favourite of mine is talking to SmarterChild on AIM or MSN. he can pass messages onto friends who are talking to him at the same time. and he plays hangman and does quizzes. he is a dictionary and a thesauraus. he knows EVERYTHING.

Its incredible how few people know that Stevie Wonder is blind!

so i ended up spending about £6 the entire day! how good is that?!
well, i didn't really listen to the kooks much, until we got there and then it was wild and there were well spoken london kids to mingle with. although we spoke to none of them, i don't think we were classy/indie enough for them.
but then after they signed some CDs and records etc. that was fun.. then we spent ages in topshop, cos apparently they don't close until about 10 or something. and we tried on glasses. and now i have created a live journal so i had somewhere to post the pictures!!
so here is the link... http://www.livejournal.com/users/amyjamy/

Snow is falling, all around me, etc etc.. and it was a jolly good christmas this year.I ate alot, had a lot of fun. played 'scene it' with the family and on my own, nearly watched the entire first season of 'arrested development' in one sitting -because i cannot get enough of that show. and i have read more books than you would think possible in the past few days. So many, i now have a sort of inner monologue running in my head. and i am thinking how, if i were to write a book, i would write about this event and use such imaginative adjectives! let me tell you its fun.
I got some grand presents, a brand new, super de duper, all singing all dancing camera (it has about a million settings, including one for snow, one for candle-lit pictures and one for beaches) and a teenee tiny mp3 player, it claims to be the smallest in the world. but the only problem is, neither of these things will run on this computer. they say they work on macs but no matter how hard i try and how many buttons i press, i just cannot use them. which saddens me somewhat.
i do not like reading instructions, but on this occasion, i have. and there is a section in the instructions for installing on windows ME, 2000 XP or 98SE. But i don't have any of them. But right above all this it says minimum system requirements.. yadda yadda yadda, mac OS 9 or above I HAVE OS X! grr
archie's little driving game won't work either, but on the box it says it will. so we're sticking with scalextric til this whole mess is straightened out.
well this has turned into a bit of a rant. so.. i'll end it.
merry christmas and a happy new year.
enjoy the rest of 2005!

Today i am going to do nothing. Although i may go to the high street. so then i will be doing something. Well, anyway, i might watch lost again, and write about it on our lost forum
i am going to put on some christmas songs and jive. and make extra garlic potatoes. for veggie eat'n.

HO HO HO!(Unsuitable Zach Braff joke goes here) merry christmas.

oo i forgot, i got all my hair chopped off. not really all of it. but some of it. Its like a basin cut now, and i don't hate it. I look like i did when i was in Year 2 though.

yay christmas.

Been on a wild goose chase for a book for Zara.
Been tricked into a maths lesson on new years day by the maths tutor.
Finished school.
But i'm gonna write every detail, cos i have 30 minutes to kill until lost comes on.
So, on saturday, we went shopping in bas vegas. I bought nothing but a spangly hat.
on sunday, i went with the fam to 'The Bluebell Railway' And we got on an old steam train that took us on an 18mile journey through sussex or suffolk i don't remember which. I think Sussex. and it was all old like the harry potter train, Santa gave me n archie presents, woop woo! I got a radio pen and Archie got a transformer. More happend But i think Archie is planning to talk about that on his blog, don't want to steal the poor boy's thunder, now.
On monday, very little happend, though we did see the end of 'of mice and men'. But i did dirve to (almost) every tesco and asda in the county looking for a book. Couldn't find it anywhere. And i learned some maths.
Yesterday, i went to school for 3 lessons, cos we had a half day. In Maths, me and laura tried to organise a Band Aid sing-a-long, which was set out the same as the real one, with everyone having a line or two. It would have been great but then the teacher stopped us. Which was ridiculous, cos it's christmas and everyone was enjoying themselves. Laura thinks she is jealous because there weren't enough lines for her, she could have joined in on the chorus though! Then in RE we watched the Simpsons and Bruce Almighty. And had chocolates, i didnt eat any, cos i do not trust mr beckett. he was being too nice. Laura ate every chocolate she was offered. and then he mocked her in front of the entire class. nasty man. And then in History, we watched 'Downfall' I had no idea what was going on though. The class next door were doing a mega mega sing-a-long! After History, it was hometime! woo! Laura walked down to mine and we got changed and walked up to the station. we got the train to liverpool street, and the bus to regent street and then we went to hamleys. IT WAS PACKED! So we walked on round to Selfridges, even more packed. So we went to covent garden. And saw the man with his guitar on his lap. Had a wander then we went to Pizza Hut on the strand. And there was a hair in my pizza! SO i told the man, and he spoke to the manager and he reduced the bill. RESULT!! My granny had given us £5. And the bill came to £5.08, when it should have been £14.99. So we payed 8p. and were away.
Today, i got up at 8, having a nightmare about this book for Zara, so i got up and went to buy it. No where in the high street had it, and by 10am i was in basildon (my least favourite place in the world) I finally found it. and had time to come home and wrap it before going back to basildon at 11.45 to see King Kong. I was so please with myself! THE FILM WAS SOOOOO LONG. Laura and Zara said it was jus like the original. and to be honest i would give it a miss. although it was very good. the last line sent me away with the wrong impression. Adrien Brody is good though! and then i went to the high street with isabelle, and then i looked after archie while my mother and father went for a shop. It was not fun.

What a long blog, and i still have 8 minutes til 'lost'!
