  • The Mighty Boosh.

I have just returned from the mighty boosh.
i have never laughed so much. ever. It was sooo funny. i really feel i got my money's worth.
We met friends there, in row b. the lucky kids. but row Y turned out to be excellent. we had PERFECT view of the stage. and not too far back. i could see facial expressions and everything.
but the show was so good. It started off as a wee bitta stand up. which turned into the main show, and then it dipped a bit, a few less funyn jokes. But then, the hitcher came out of the box, did his funny little dance. and it was back on track... then i laughed continuosly til the interval. when our chums came and sat next to us. then we went for a walk, but we came in late. and the moon was already talking. we had to climb over everyone to get to our seats, and i forgot what row we were in. oh it was a bit of a kerfuffle. the second half was great. we thought it ended but the curtains opened again, and there was a suprise appearance from Old Gregg. sung their little song... and when it had finally ended. We hung around in the lobby for a while. Then, i got a phone call from my mum to say there was a stage door. so we went over there. And waited. And waited. And waited. There was a door door, and a sliding panel thing for loading and unloading on the trucks. We were near the panel-y thing.. and spotted Naboo. he was tiny! then we saw howard moon. they couldn't see us because we were peeping through the delivery entrance, but then Naboo turned around, and realised he was being watched. and looked pitifully at us. like 'haven't you got anything better to do?'
Well Naboo came out, and we got a photo with him.
We got bored of watching and i was watching the men load the trucks when laura nodded over my head, and i spun around and Vince Noir/Noel Fielding was standing right behind me! leaning out the delivery bit! it was weird. Weirdest thing, ages ago, Alice asked for suggestions on what she should wear to boosh. I suggested a rather cool pac-man belt i had found on 80stees.com, and today, NOEL was wearing it. And then Howard signed my little note book thing saying 'Boosh love, J Barratt' or something, and a little drawing of the mask thing. (i am so posting pictures)noel/vince autograph
Then, Bob fossill signed my book 'what a book!! Bob'
The man in the gorrilla costume who plays Bollo came out, and no one knew who he was, except mark, they were chatting away!! so no one asked him for his autograph. but slowly people started to realise and as he got in the van (which we were standing RIGHT next to, cos everyone was too busy crowding the stage door) he started to sign things, he wrote 'Amy, you bitch! Big boosh love! Bollo (dave)' Bollo Autpgraph
then last, Vince came out... he toook agesssssss. but it was worth it, we all got an autograph, i got a weird little drawing, and then 'noel'. i wanted to get a photo but he needed to be whisked off in his van. but he did give us a kiss!
thats right, noel fielding. (he was in the IT crowd too, richmond. and also Nathan Barley)
they drove off, we drove off and the night was over.
    but soooo much fun.
    I want to go back.
Next on the list, Simon Amstell, yes yes!

    Say 'Boooooooooooooooosh!'

    The mighty boosh.....

  • ooh back again.

I haven't written anything in a while. That is partly because i have realised how boring my blog is. none of that inner musings schlaar that most blogs are full of, i just like to talk about what i've done. I don't mind if no one reads it. I just like to write it down. So i still am.
    I haven't really done much though...so...
well. i have read a book. a good book. 'Matchstick Men' by Eric Garcia. yes yes. It is the same as the film, which is a darn good movie. And the book was excellent. I read it in about 2 days. I have now leant it to Lainey to read. I think i'd quite like to be a con-man, if it weren't illegal and all.
I also stayed with Granny at Andrews house on Saturday night. It was so very very quiet there. but very nice. And then for mothers day we went to 'The Lion and Lamb' in little cansfield, near dunmow. It was sooo nice there. I reccomend.
I went to a food tasting thing at the school on monday. it was all very healthy.
on wednesday, i went with Archie's class on a road safety walk. i had to hold a little girls hand and help her across the road. I asked her to look both ways and she just stared at me. And so i asked her if she could hear any engines...still staring at me. so i asked her if it was safe to cross...:|
Then, Archie and his friends went to Marsh Farm. which was excellent!
I played with the kiddies in the sand pit and we saw some animals, and went on a tractor. it was great!
    BOOOOOOOOOSH tonight.

  • BOOOOOOSH!

I have just been to collect my Boosh tickets from the cliffs pavillion! wahey!
I will be there on the 30th March, yes yes!
    I'm in row Y :-/ BUT I'M STILL THERE!
I had a busy weekend, i stayed at isabelle's sunday & Monday. monday i came home for lunch... shhh... and i got asked to babysit, but we were already going out for dinner, had maths tutor and media... soo... I went back to school, had science with Mr Willys (I dislike that man! I am going to buy a tee shirt that says 'what you talkin bout willis' and wear it on non uniform day) and then i stayed doing media til 4.25, then i ran home (literally, ran!) and was here in time for Sir David of Maths at 5. Then, when we managed to coax him out of the door at 6.15, we ran up to meet isabelle and we went to the blue boar for some dinner, BUT, they had NO veggie food! NONE. not even a bit that i just didn't want to eat, they were all out! and i had to be babysitting by 7.45! so.. we ran up to papa pizza, and they made us a pizza, but just as they served it up, i got a phone call to say that they wanted me earlier... so, we got it boxed up and went home. Then i went next door, and played a very exciting game called 'buzz' wow its a bit cool! then the children went to bed, and i watced Americas Next Top Model! that show is great! i want Kim to win!!! although i know who does, and i'm not too happy! But this week it was a rooobish highlights show, because Cassandra left a few weeks back and they're down a show. Highlights shows are the lowest of the low, i have already seen every episode, i do not need to watch the best bits again!
then i watched a little bit of the Oscars, but it was a bit boring, so i watched Sports kids moms and dads! oh my gosh! its about these little tiny 8 year olds, whose parents pressure them HARD into doing things, and don't allow them to be children. Everyone should watch it. There was a little girl, and her mum was making her go cheerleading and kept shaking her head, saying 'wheres your competitive spirit, whitni/courtni/mandi?' (i don't remember the girls name) and then the little girl kept faking stomach aches to get her off of school/practice on a monday because she had school, then cheer practice, then dance then cheer practice in one day and she hated it. And whitni (with a little heart to dot the 'i' probably) was so worried about upsetting her mum, she put up with it! Seriously, watch it, 10pm LivingTV2.
I am so very very excited for the mighty boosh!!! 22 days! and I am Also excited for....
    V FEST!!!!!! yyesss!

also, if anyone wants to buy tickets for corinne bailey rae, i am selling 2!!

  • I am so tired

I am sooooo tired today, i only fell asleep at 5.30 this morning. I stayed at Isabelle's and i could NOT get to sleep. I watched American pie the wedding twice, and then i watched re-runs of Jeremy Kyle and 'the peoples court'. And i listened to the clock chime every hour and half hour. I got up at 7, so that 1hr and 30minutes sleep, not enough!
Yesterday, i went to chelmebob/chompsford with Laura, on the train, there were works at billericay so we got the bus for free to shenfield. I bought some good lookin glasses.
On saturday i got my left lobe re peirced. woop. and i did some cleaning and photo shopping! that is so hard! I have no idea how to use it!
i'm in IT and tired, staying at Isabelle's again tonight, hope i sleep better!

  • 2nd march

today, zara and i did a very good presentation...
it was about asteroids, and i was meant to have Armageddon, but i didn't. sorry bizara! BUT, i did have a lime and some raisins, so, i held the lime (earth) and zara explained about asteroids/meteors while pelting raisins towards my lime. ahh it was good.
last night i watched that peaches geldof program, i think i only understand about 12% of the words that come out of her mouth... she tries to be so clever but i find it a little annoying. though she does have the right ideas... i wonder how many people actually understand what she is talking about...
Tomorrow, we are going to 'band night' at KEGS woo!
but tonight i am going to sleep
wait, no i'm not... i have media to do! oh no!!!

  • Beauty and the Geek- top class comedy

After many hours of tired flicking and fiddling with the sky remote, trying to work out these new channels... i stumbled across a program on E4 (by chance, i was looking for UKTV style) called 'Beauty and the Geek'. From what I've gathered, some 'Beauties' and some 'Geeks' have to pair up and the girls teach the boys about beauty things.. like looking good.... and the boys teach the girls about..common sense really... and then each week they are quizzed and one team ends up going home.
The episode i happend to see was one where the beauties go out with no make up on, and the geeks go out all dressed up! It was so very funny! this girl, not so clever, and quite shallow was talking about 'questioning the world we live in' trying to be clever i think. (impressing the geeks) and then, my favourite geek...i forget his name... read one of the girls a poem... it lasted 11 minutes... and was about a coin!
oh! that certainly beats any comedy show on today! (except the mighty boosh, and Arrested Development)

Today, we had a domestic violence speaker in... and domestic violence is no laughing matter.. but when she plays Annie Lennox-'why' and then speaks over the top (martin luther-king stylee) i had to bite my cheeks to stop from laughing, which is ok, but when you look round the room and see everyone else doing the same... it becomes very hard.
Then she put on Eminem. trying to reach out to the kids you see... except, when she asked who listens to Eminem. no one put their hand up. poor woman.
then she put on Craig david... and repeated the lyrics... and i had to try so hard not to laugh again... and when the woman started swearing, Mrs Baird was angreeeeeeeeeee!
    oh it was good.

now, y'all better go see Walk the Line soon! tis a damned good film and yous is missin out.
oh how i wish i was southern
